Paddington Platform Swish-N-Pop with a Swivel- Getting your image to stay upright on a moving arm.

Truth, I don't really remember Paddington except that my youngest sister loved him.  We only got to spend every other summer together growing up so I missed the better part of that.  But I do recall the umbrella and flying through the air which was the inspiration for this Platform Pop-Up.

Getting Paddington to stay upright was a task and a half on this one.  I learned a few things that will help with my next one and hopefully it will got a lot faster and with less pieces.
I love that these lay flat for mailing even with the added pull tab and has I make more I'll perfect the art of adding that element without so many added steps.
Here is the tutorial on how the whole Platform came together...
And I did a Pop Out Tutorial on how to add just the Swish-N-Pop feature...

Of course I was trying to do too many things at once and forgot to flip the video footage in my movie editor, so we are stuck with it this way. (Rolls Eyes at self...I think I saw a brain back there but it was pretty foggy.)
A couple shots of the overhead and back.  Figuring out the balance on weight was a tedious process and took FOREVER. It does actual move across very well with only a little hiccup on the way back because of the suitcase touching.

For a simpler looking Platform this one gave me a run for my money on the mechanics of it. I got it there in the end and learned a few things that might make next time a bit less time consuming and less headache inducing.

It's a longer video that is quite sped up. Rural internet and an old laptop does not make for speedy uploads. If the interest is there for the real time tutorial Pop Outs I will do one with an updated version of the swivel mechanics.
