Baby Chick Die-cut Infinity Shaker Card, Crescent Creations DT, Finding new uses for die-cut shapes.

 I love finding new ways to use single purpose die-cuts. It's might be meant for one thing, but if we look at the shape and let creativity take over sometimes we can find new ways to use what we have. I've been playing with the Lawn Fawn Inside/Out Stitched Strawberry Die lately. I've used it as a carrot house and now the body of my little chick. I have another one coming up that I've been meaning to do since Halloween...hint hint...but the point is sometimes just thinking out of the box gets us more use out of stuff we already have. I also pulled out the Build-A-Succulent Dies for this one as well as the strawberry back piece from the Built-a-Cupcake set. And I was not disappointed with the end result! That chick is adorable. Plus it was super easy to put together and adding the infinity shaker just gives it that something extra I love!
