I've been about as productive in my craft studio as growing anything outside in Minnesota the entire month of December. Okay, maybe a little more productive than that. I've totally not been in my creative groove, and I went to something a bit simpler. I love how it turned out and coloring has definitely been my go to for distraction lately.
I did get myself a big pad of Ohuhu Marker paper. I'm always up for trying new paper for alcohol ink coloring that might be easier on the pocket book. It was okay, not as smooth and easy glide as my go to Xpress It Cardstock. But for the price it was an okay alternative. It did blend well. (note the image above) I would say it had a bit more of a tooth than the Xpress It and was more like the Neehan Classic Crest Smooth 80lb. cardstock, which many love for alcohol ink coloring. I did find that it bled slightly if I overworked the ink, but not as bad as some others. Here is the pad I went with...
Ohuhu Spiral-Bound Marker Pad for Alcohol Markers, A3, 16.5*11.7in, 200GSM, 48 SheetsE280 Brown Grey
E286 Mushroom White
E182 Putty
were the hair colors used...I think. The above swatches have my other color combos in them. Except for the skin tone...I haven't a clue on that one.
