Successful Witch Card -Halloween 2022- Shaker Card w/Tim Holtz Frightful Things & Lawn Fawn Die-cuts

I love fall. It's my favorite season. The leaves are changing, the crops are ready for harvest, the air is crisp, and it's acceptable to wear all those cozy clothes again. We tend to be super busy on the farm. More so than in the spring, putting in super long days, and often working well into the night. We live on little sleep and lots of caffeine. It's not always perfect, but it's that signal that slower days are ahead. A closing to another growing season and the chance to just soak up all that mother nature gave us. Yes, some years are more favorable than others, but isn't that the risk in what we do to feed the world.

Which brings me to my favorite holiday ever...Halloween. It's that carefree feeling of dressing up and eating candy. With little expectations of preparations, unlike Christmas. I think that's why I love it so much, no one is expecting anything of me but a bowl of candy and maybe a fun costume. It's my favorite maker season, from the sweet and whimsical to the creepy and freaky. I can just make whatever my imagination comes up with.
