A Simple Lift the Flap Slimline Card

I love lift the flap cards, but I always struggle with the inside or the outside.  I mean I tend to go over the top on both and well that's like creating 2 cards or in some cases like 6 scenes.  I did it a year or so ago for my sister's birthday card.  It was gorgeous.  I didn't want this one to take me 2 days, I got a bit out of my comfort zone though.  I don't white space well...even when that white space is chocolate colored. I wanted all the color and surprise to be on the inside of the flaps on this one.
I think I accomplished that and overall I think it turned out cute enough.
I'm sure my next lift the flap will be totally extra again...but whatever.
