Tim Holtz 2016 Tag Challenge January

I promised myself I would do more me creating this year.  Things I make just for me, but also learning and playing with more mixed media as well.  So I'm going to try and keep up with Tim Holtz 2016 Tags...one a month... we'll see how I do.

 I used Tim Holtz embossing folder on the metal along with his distess paint in soot for the top and bottom of the tag.  

 Stamped images are all CTMH.

The bottom tag is cut using Spellbinders die.  

Spinner and brad are Tim Holtz.  I used the distress hammer to add the gouges in the  brads.  The "love" sticker is from Tim's idea-ology line.  I went with white embossing powder (Ranger) and whisper gray pigment ink (CTMH) for the images and text.  Twine is Whisper thick twine (CTMH) and bakers twine (american craft).
