CCC and Hawaii

I am back with the Crafty Creations Challenge.  Granted the challenge went live last Wednesday, bear with me it has been a busy week here and I finally am getting my card posted....

 I am just getting back from Hawaii--all that glorious Blue water and warm Yellow sunshine!  I would love to extent that vacation, so let me see what you can do with
BLUE and YELLOW
 as your color challenge this week!

Our sponsor for this one is Creative Need!
"I have merged my love of drawing with my need for realistic images, by digitizing my own pencil sketches. My drawing style is influenced by simple realism, everyday moments and natural beauty. I'm hoping that my images will fill a need in your creative hearts and crafting homes too!
You will find new images every month at A Creative Need, Squigglefly and Can You Digi It?!
I am pleased and proud to be sponsoring this challenge! Thank you to the design team for their wonderful creations, and best of luck to all the participants!
The winner will receive 3 images of their choice from my SHOP."

Here is my Blue and Yellow.  I am using a Creative Need image, colored with copics.  Papers are all CTMH, all over the place kit wise, but blend beautifully together.  Card base is from Micheal's.  Calendar tape is Tim Holtz.  Flowers from stash,  Leaves are a white daisy dyed with Tim Holtz Distress inks and torn apart added in for leaves.  Brads and gem swirl is CTMH.

Now on to some pictures from Hawaii.  Granted I took over 600 pictures, so this is a very small sampling...
 Sunset at Germaines Luau.
Some of the Hula Dancers there, including myself below when they showed the girls in the audience how to do one.  I may have  had a few rum punches in me by this time...
My family with our leis arriving at the luau.
 Watching surfers along the north shore of Oahu.

 We went on a circle island tour and stopped to eat at a beautiful golf course along the way.

 We all swam with the dolphins at SeaLife Park. Definitely a very memorable moment for all of us.  The boys say this was the best part of the trip.

I'm so glad I stopped by your blog. Wonderful pictures...and memories...of your trip. It looks like you had a LOT more fun on your vacation than we did on ours. Now back to grind, right?
Oh, and I do love the card also. Great way to bring Blue and Yellow into the challenge {smile}
