Cards with 2nd Graders

We are making cards in 2nd grade this week with my youngest son's class.  I thought it would be helpful to post the steps to my blog for them to view on the classroom's smart board.  So this isn't my normal format, but if you scroll down you will see the completed card.  All papers are CTMH or Little Yellow Bicycle.  Stamps and dies are all CTMH and cut with Circut.

Here are all of your supplies.  Colors may be different, but they are all the same shape and size.  Your image is stamped on both sides.  You can choose from the snowman or the reindeer.
Start with the arrow facing up on your card front.
If you open it, you should see the "Sharing the Magic" stamp.
Start by gluing on the largest rectangle.
Then add the big brown square toward the top.  Add the small scalloped rectangle to the top corner of the brown square.
Glue the scrolly square to the other corner.
Add the circle below the small square and to the side of the rectangle.
Choose your image and color.  Then add it on top of the large brown square like below.
You can add stitching or a frame around your image.
Last you add on the Sentiment or Words.

Now your card is complete on the outside!
