ULTIMATE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

ULTIMATE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

3/4 cup Butter Flavor Crisco Shortening
1 1/4 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 egg
1 3/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Combine shortening, sugar, milk and vanilla. Beat until well blended. Add egg and beat into creamed mixture. Add flour salt, and soda. Blend well then stir in chips. Drop tablespoonfuls about 3 inches apart. Bake 375*F for 8-10 Minutes for chewy cookies and 11-13 minutes for crisp cookies.

You can use 3/4 cup butter and omit the milk-- that is what I do as I don't use crisco too much. Good luck with the conversions there are tons of online conversion calc- so that should help. I only bake them for 8 minutes and they stay nice and soft.

Sorry this took soo long to get posted it has been one of those weeks again. We had the garage sale this last weekend too as there where more area ones and we did fairly good. I did the best, but I sold a lot of stamp sets and scrapping stuff. So I have new cushions for my patio furnature and am planning on doing some landscaping with the rest minus a few new craft toys.

Jake my youngest broke his foot on Saturday evening so that took most of the rest of the weekend and today. I use to work for a Chiropractor so I had him x-ray it for me on Saturday evening and then took him and his wife out to eat. (they saved me like a $750 er bill). We wrapped it good and tight till this morning when I brought him in to the doctor to get it casted. We now have a green club running around grumping that he wants it off of his foot. I will try to post a picture later as I have to get to the farm.
