CCC#14 memories

Earthy to Elegant is this week's sponsor over at Crafty Creations. Check out the blog for prize and the above link to see all the wonderful creations at Earthy to Elegant. Here is my Memory for you . . . we have done thresher's since John and I have dated and I went before we started. My Grandpa Bill was very involved and always had his thresher there so when he passed away almost 5 years ago we have continued to go every year. John and the boys love all the tractors and i love the fact that I get to think about all the times with G-pa all weekend long. These picts are from 2 years ago I believe.

Well I really didn't think I would get this one done in time. Oh I am exhausted. Is spring field work over yet?!!!! I used CTMH paper pack Sarsaparilla along with there diecut letters. I inked everything with CTMH black distressing ink. I even did my pictures which is a big step for me. I stamped the words with Charm uppercase stamp set from CTMH. I followed a pattern in the imagine layout book as well. (Wow this has to be one of my first all CTMH layouts!) The twill and pewter photo hangers are also ctmh and I inked the twill to give it the "gressed" look that the guys always seem to have when they are done working on machines.

Jake and jason were playing with a large square bail fork (for the skidloader) and tipped it over on Jakes foot. He is tearing up the yard like nothing happened now and gets around on his cast like nobody's business. He is my trooper!<

What a great page! I love it and the memories are super! That is a really fun tradition you two share. Think of all the memories your boys will have when they look back, too! I am glad to hear that Jake isn't letting a cast stop him from getting around and having fun. LOL Boys will be boys!
Hugs,
