Sorry I am late getting my DT peice up today. The brakes went out on good ol' red (My Car)and I had to bring him to the shop. I made it fine and now have a nice POS loaner, why can't I ever get anything close to what I already drive. But atleast this time it isn't the really old truck they made me take last time. My MIL even said wow they trusted you with something nice this time. The radio switches to CD everytime I hit a bump, oh it drives me nuts! Any way enought of my rambling on to the sparkle.
It was Ms.Ali's first turn as DT member to set the challenge. What a wonderful challenge too. She also got Shimmerz to donate the prize for this week so you have to check out Crafty Creations Blog to see all the wonderful DT peices and fab prize. Here is my DT peice for this week.
I used my new Family Ties- Adult set from CTMH isn't she a doll. Colored her with Hollyhock, sweet leaf, barn red, cocoa, and Vanilla Cream. I added bling for earings and on her purse. Glittered her shirt, headband, shopping bag, "young", a border on the image cardstock, and the holes in the scallops. She is all sparkles. On the inside it says "to live honestly, eat healthy, and lie about your age."
Well I just thought I would show you my scraping corner as it is as clean as it is going to get for a long time. The cabinet to the Right houses all of my acrylics and some of my buttons and findings on top, on the bottom all of my paper and stickers, idea books, works in progress, wood mount stamps and such. I have more stash than should be mentioned, so I will let you guess on the rest. (most of my diecuts are in a different room, as i don't have the space in my little corner)
Chicken update: We got 2 eggs yesterday. The boys ate them last night. And I have clammed down the boys and the chickens enough that we can pet 3 of them and they just sit there. So we have 3 named thus far. . . Henny Penny, Miss Cluck, and Chicken Little (she is the smallest of our 8 chickens so Bud named her that) Today we have 4 eggs so far and will check after milking tonight to see if we have anymore. The boys are in love with them still.
